Embracing autumn: seasonal wellness for the body and mind
Share
At Franchine Young Ireland, we’re passionate about bringing nature into our lives and evolving with the seasons. We believe in reconnecting with the world around us, listening to our bodies and loving the skin we’re in.
Each quarter, we share seasonal suggestions to nourish the mind, the skin and from within.
Here are some of the ways we’re looking after our bodies and minds now that autumn has arrived…
For the mind
Into wild swimming? Water has been slowly gathering heat all summer so should be at its warmest in early autumn. A quick, cold dip is invigorating and can do wonders for your mind. Swim with care, with a friend, and know your limits.
For the skin
Crisp air feels good on our skin, and crisp leaves feel good beneath our feet. As the air gets colder, skin gets drier, so we’re applying our Wonder Balm liberally to keep the moisture in.

For within
With Halloween fast approaching, pumpkins are everywhere. Packed with fibre and antioxidants, this versatile squash has superfood status in our eyes and is a delicious, nutritious way to add vitamins and minerals to your meals. Roasted. Souped. Cooked into a curry or baked into a pie – we’re enjoying pumpkin in a lot more ways than latte.
